Painting shops or branches should settle down or in one-storeyed buildings, or in the top floors of many-storeyed buildings. If painting shops settle down in one building with other shops they should be separated deaf fire-resistant walls. Premises of painting shops should be kept clean; cleaning of premises should be made after each change by damp way, but application for clearing of premises and the equipment of solvents is forbidden.

Paint and varnish materials should be applied only with the permission of laboratory. Application of materials, unhealthy workers, in particular, containing lead connections, is forbidden and it can be authorised as an exception if replacement with less harmful materials is impossible.
